Adele's classes are uplifting and dynamic
with an emphasis on therapeutics, biomechanics and FUN! She is heavily influenced by Anusara yoga - a style that blends life-affirming philosophy with sound alignment principles to connect the body, mind and heart on the yoga mat to help inspire life off the mat. With her passion for movement Adele's first love was dance - everything from ballet to hip hop - and she was a dance teacher for many years. It wasn't until Adele was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 25 that she explored yoga, first as a way to manage pain, heal and regain strength. Since returning to full health she has made yoga a regular part of her life and feels better than ever for it. In yoga Adele found the same challenge and fun she had in dance, and so much more. She healed her body, overcame fears around her illness and found a way to live fully, with grace, gratitude and an open heart. Adele's training includes Anusara www.anusara.com, Vinyasa Flow with Shiva Rea, Power Yoga and pregnancy yoga. Her classes are influenced by her teachers Katie Lane, Tara Judelle and BJ Galvan and she is ever grateful to share in their shri. Leaving behind a corporate career in London, Adele is now fusing her teaching skills and life experiences, and delights in the reality that she can share her tools for wellbeing through her biggest passion. She will help students express themselves in a joyful manner (even if their muscles protest!), dive deeper into their bodies to release unhelpful conditioning and to unite with a heartfelt intention. When asked what she delivers through her teachings, she responds 'I equip people to live happier lives, by fuelling the body and mind with conscious movement, breath, nutrition and philosophy.' |
