She was introduced to her first Vinyasa Yoga class in 2005 while living in Aspen Colorado. Injury from an active lifestyle led her to Yoga, however the challenge in mind and body leading to more focus and clarity, kept her coming back. After practicing regularly at the studio O2 Aspen, Yoga became an integral part of life, and she felt inspired to share the experience with others. She is a Registered 200 hr Yoga Alliance Teacher, received her qualification at Corepower Yoga in Denver, Colorado and bought the Yoga Sanctuary at the end of 2006. She is currently completing her 500 hr Yoga Alliance Level II Teacher training with Radiantly Alive Yoga in Ubud, Bali. Her objective as a teacher is one of service and she holds true to the knowledge passed down to her "teach to honour the student, never oneself". She continues to learn and evolve through ongoing study and an everlasting love of Yoga. Denise is an ambassador for Lululemon Ponsonby |

Denise's classes are dynamic, inspiring, challenging and heartfelt. Her intention is always to empower her students and attending a class with her will not only be a deeply spiritual experience but a humorous one too.
